Social Bookmarking
Introduction to Social Bookmarking
muokkaaSocial Bookmarking is a way for Internet users to store, organise, share and search bookmarks of web pages. In a social bookmarking system, users save links to web pages that they want to remember and/or share. Most social bookmark services encourage users to organise their bookmarks with informal 'tags' enabling the viewing of other bookmarks associated with a chosen tag.
As a part of this course, a Social Bookmarking page has been set up on the popular bookmarking site Delicious. The username and password for this site is available below and users are strongly encouraged to add further links and resources to this site. As useful articles and resources arise from your research, a link to the site can be added thus adding to the resource bank for other participants within the course.
